Kader FC

Theo Formby-Jackson was an exception. He had to undergo 3 open heart surgeries in the first 11 months of his life. A time his Dad, Alan, describes as being very 'touch and go' as to whether he would pull through.

After successful operations and with his health now back on track, Theo became interested in football and joined his local grassroots club, Kader FC, at the age of 7.

Alan, Theo's dad and Chairman of Kader FC, had been a youth coach at the club since 1994 and took responsibility to run a newly formed team which included his son, Theo.

With Alan marshalling from the sidelines and Theo supporting the team on the pitch, Kader FC are now pushing for promotion.

According to Alan, part of the team's recent success can be attributed to the club's Football Foundation Funded 3G Artificial Grass Pitch which opened in February 2019.

The new facilities were unveiled by Middlesbrough FC captain, George Friend.
